There, heritage does not lie dormant in the past but lives on in every festival season, every daily custom, and every belief tied to the natural environment. The Cau Ngu Festival of Thai Duong village, held once every three years in January at the Thuan An seaport, is precisely such a heritage - a vibrant cultural practice where community memory, maritime knowledge, and the will to survive have woven together into an enduring whole across hundreds of years.

On the afternoon of March 17, Hue City People's Committee held a sponsorship contract signing ceremony for Hue Festival 2026 with Vietnam Airlines Corporation - Vietnam Airlines and Pacific Airlines Joint Stock Aviation Company.

On the morning of March 10th, Hue Youth Union and Hue City Young Pioneers Council organized the 2026 “Healthy Children - Advancing to the Youth Union” Festival at Tran Quoc Toan Primary School in Phu Xuan Ward.

At the end of each year, together with many medical schools across the country, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, holds the “Macchabée Festival - Gratitude to Those Who Donate Their Bodies to Science”. Held annually, the event has become a meaningful tradition for medical and pharmacy students to express their deep gratitude and respect to the “silent teachers” - those who have chosen to dedicate their bodies to the advancement of knowledge and the preservation of life.

The petanque competition of the 10th Hue City Sports Festival officially opened on the morning of March 7th at Hue City Sports Center. Notably, the tournament features the participation of many athletes aged 70 and above.

On the evening of March 3 (the 15th day of the first lunar month), at Ngo Mon Square – Hue Imperial Citadel, the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival and Hue Monuments Conservation Center held the art program “Thi di ngon chi” on the occasion of the 24th Vietnamese Poetry Day.

On the morning of March 1, Hue City Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation of Hue City organized the Youth Month Kick-off Ceremony and launched the Tet Tree-planting Festival “Forever Grateful to Uncle Ho” in the Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026 in Huong Thuy Ward.

On the morning of February 26 (the 10th day of the first lunar month), Sinh Village wrestling festival in Duong No Ward, Hue City, officially opened in a vibrant atmosphere, drawing large crowds of residents and visitors from across the region to cheer and compete in the arena.

The Ban Soc (Calendar Distribution) Ceremony of the Nguyen Dynasty marks the commencement of Hue Festival 2024, portrayed through a staged performance that revives ancient rituals and customs.

Taking place from April 28 to May 5 with the theme "The Quintessence of Vietnamese Craftsmanship", Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023 brings together 21 craft groups with the participation of 69 craft villages, craft establishments, and over 350 artisans coming from famous craft villages in the country.
