Following a series of special activities within the framework of Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023, on the evening of April 29th, the culinary festival themed “The Quintessence of Rice Vermicelli” was launched at Thuong Bac Park.

At this year's Hue Traditional Craft Festival, the cuisine of Hue and regions continues to be introduced to locals and tourists; the quintessence of the rice vermicelli craft is especially honored.

On March 29, The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), the Australian Embassy and the Australian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City cooperated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Provincial People's Committee to organize a conference to promote Australian education, culture and cuisine in Hue City, within the Viet Nam - Australia: Unlocking Opportunities in Education and Agrifood roadshow series.

Promotional videos focus on introducing Thua Thien Hue tourism with diverse perspectives, especially the massive heritage system, the destination of 5 world heritage sites, along with the images of green, peaceful destinations, festivals, and special cuisine.

The writing contest "Hue - the Capital of Gastronomy" with 2 phases aims to promote and preserve the beauty of Vietnamese culinary culture in general and Hue cuisine in particular.

On December 14, in Da Nang city, the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association (VCCA) held a ceremony to announce the typical culinary set of the Central region.
