Amid complex developments of Nipah virus disease in several countries, Hue City’s health sector is stepping up surveillance and implementing proactive prevention and control measures to prevent the risk of the disease entering and spreading within the community.

On the afternoon of December 29th in Hanoi, the Ministry of Health held the National Conference to review health sector performance in 2025; wrap up the 2021 - 2025 term; outline directions for the 2026 - 2030 term; and deploy key tasks for 2026.

International cooperation programs in the health sector have brought practical benefits to Hue City, achieving “three goals with one action”: creating opportunities for medical staff to improve their skills; helping thousands of patients access advanced treatment techniques; and strengthening the reputation of medical institutions.
