More than 1,000 traditional lanterns from royal to folk origins have gathered on the banks of the Huong River to create a sparkling and colorful space just in time for the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Annually, in the middle of the seventh month of lunar calendar, the descendants working from far away gather in the communal house of An Truyen (Chuon Village), Phu An Commune (Phu Vang District) for the Autumn offering ceremony.

For the first time, festivals are held all year round, from spring to summer and then autumn to winter. This is also a new highlight, a way to renew Hue Festival, and a premise to promote economic development from festival tourism.

For flower growers in Phu Mau, Phu Thuong, Thuy Van (Hue City), there are always sprouts raised on the loose soil beds, so that their gardens and fields are green, not only for Tet holiday.
