More than 500 artists and performers from 17 art units representing 9 countries gathered at the International Dance Festival 2024, which opened on the evening of August 17 at the Thua Thien Hue Cultural and Cinematic Center (41A Hung Vuong, Hue City).

The International Dance Festival 2024, organized by the Department of Performing Arts (the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, will take place from August 17 to 22 at the Provincial Center for Culture and Cinema (41A Hung Vuong Street, Hue City).

Hue Monuments Conservation Center recently had a working session with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thi Ha Duong, managing director of the Vingroup Innovation Foundation – VinIF, to discuss the implementation process of the project “Restoring, training and teaching Hue tuong mask painting art - a traditional art form at high risk of being lost”. The project is built by Hue Monuments Conservation Center and sponsored by the VinIF.

On the morning of June 9th, Hue City Center for Culture, Information, and Sports organized the opening ceremony and activities for the Hue - Cergy Cultural and Artistic Exchange Day titled “From tradition to modernity”. This event is part of Hue International Arts Festival 2024.

On the morning of June 7, the Provincial Executive Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha organized an opening ceremony of the Art exhibition of Buddhist culture - Hue Festival 2024 at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center (15A Le Loi Street, Hue City).

Within the framework of Hue International Art Festival Week 2024, on the afternoon of June 6, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with People's Artist Tran Do organized the opening of the exhibition "Dragon Symbol through Tran Do’s Pottery. The exhibition is displayed in the ancient, splendid space of Kien Trung Palace in Hue Imperial Citadel.

On the afternoon of June 6th , over 150 sketch works depicting the landscapes of Phu Loc were exhibited and introduced to the public at Diem Phung Thi Art Center (part of Hue Fine Arts Museum, 17 Le Loi, Hue City).

On the afternoon of June 3, at the Truong Lang Corridor of the Forbidden City, Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with Hue University of Arts organized the opening ceremony of an exhibition on arts and heritage, with the theme “Artistic inspiration from royal patterns”. The exhibition is part of a series of activities in response to the highlight week of Hue Festival 2024.

Participating in the International Art Festival Week Hue 2024, Cergy Hip hop Dance Group from Cergy Dance Training Center (France) will provide a performance titled "The flows", with the desire to bring to the audience a comprehensive view of hip hop culture with the flows between the internal and external forces.

Participating in the International Art Festival Week Hue 2024, the Zhejiang Wu Opera Research Center of China will stage and perform some outstanding excerpts showcasing the charm and quintessence of Zhejiang Opera and traditional Chinese opera.
