On the afternoon of October 3, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong hosted a courtesy reception and had a working session with a delegation of the Embassy of Finland to Vietnam, led by Mr. Keijo Norvanto, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of The Republic of Finland to Vietnam.

On the morning of August 16, in Hue city, Vietnam Fine Arts Association collaborated with Thua Thien Hue Union of Literature and Arts Associations held the 28th North Central Region Fine Arts Exhibition 2023.

The 28th North Central Region Fine Arts Exhibition kicked off on August 16th. The exhibition introduces the art-loving public to 157 artworks from 137 artists.

In the framework of the XIV Contest for Selecting Excellent Students of Gifted High school in the Coastal and Northern Delta regions in 2023 held in Thai Nguyen in 2 days from July 15 to 16, Hue Quoc Hoc High school for the Gifted won 28 medals and prizes.

Hai Van Gate is known as "world’s most majestic gate", located at an altitude of nearly 500m right at the top of Hai Van Pass. On the morning of February 23, the project ‘Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam’ (sponsored by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in Vietnam through WWF-Norway) and the Provincial Center for Innovative Startup officially launched the contest “Initiatives to reduce plastic waste - Hue 2023”. The contest was held with an aim to find innovative ideas to reduce plastic waste in Hue City.

After a series of cold rainy days, Hue gets dry, being fresh and sunny. Hue is coming in mist season. Unlike many northern provinces, the mist in Hue is just enough to make the dawn rising a little bit later, but it is still poetic and beautiful.

On the occasion of the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13), the Provincial Real Estate Association – HuREA coordinated with Thua Thien Hue Provincial Youth Union to visit and give present to local people in Vinh Xuan commune (Phu Vang district), Quang Thanh commune (Quang Dien district), and Huong An ward (Hue City), where were affected by the typhoon No.4 Noru last September.
