From August 26 to September 15, the city’s health sector is rolling out the first high-dose Vitamin A supplementation campaign of 2026 for children aged 6 to under 60 months in ethnic minority and mountainous communes. The campaign aims to provide children with essential micronutrients and help reduce malnutrition rates in these areas.

By welcoming over 4.3 million tourist arrivals in the first 6 months, Hue tourism has reached robust growth. However, to meet its annual target and further increase tourism revenue, the industry needs to ramp up its efforts with a comprehensive set of coordinated solutions.

On the afternoon of June 24, the City People's Committee held its regular June meeting and a session to review the city's socio-economic performance during the first 6 months of 2026. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Party Central Committee Member, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People’s Committee.

According to statistics, the number of visitors to Hue in the first 9 months reached nearly 5 million arrivals, witnessing an increase of nearly 63% compared to the same period. This is truly good news for Hue as the city hosts the National Tourism Year for the second time.

On the morning of September 4th, the Department of Tourism announced statistics on visitor arrivals to Hue in the first eight months of 2025. Notably, France topped the international tourist market to Hue with nearly 64.200 tourists during the period, accounting for 13,5% of the city’s international tourist arrivals.
