Inspired by the patterns of Nhat Binh gown in the Nguyen Dynasty, Nguyen Huynh Minh Thanh, a female student from the University of Arts, Hue University launched her collection named “the Dream of Nhat Binh” and won the prize of the National Applied Arts Exhibition and Contest 2022. The Dream of Nhat Binh is not only just a collection but is also a dream of the young fashion designer.

On the evening of November 15th, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations (PVUSTA), in coordination with Hue University, the Provincial Labor Confederation, the Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Youth Union and related units, held the Closing Remarks and Award Ceremony of the 12th Thua Thien Hue Provincial Technical Innovation Contest 2022, and at the same time, recognizing and honoring the merits of innovators who have come up with useful technical solutions.

Passing dozens of design projects, the project of the authors Do Tri Kiet, Tran Cong Tan, Tran Van Tien, Nguyen Tan Tai, and Nguyen Ngoc Tung from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Sciences, Hue University were honored with the first prize of the contest "Landscape Design of South Eo Bau - Thuong Thanh".

On the afternoon of October 21, Hue University and the National Innovation Center held a signing ceremony for the cooperation agreement on Innovation, Technology Transfer, and many other contents.

According to the prestigious Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023 (THE 2023), Hue University was named in the official ranking list for the first time, Hue University said on the morning of October 12. A group of authors namely Do Tri Kiet, Tran Cong Tan, Tran Van Tien, Nguyen Tan Tai, and Nguyen Ngoc Tung (from Faculty of Architecture - University of Sciences, Hue University) was honored with the First prize in the “Southern Eo Bau - Thuong Thanh (Upper surface of the Citadel rampart) landscape design” contest.

To contribute to the project of 10,000 information technician (IT) as well as the province's digital transformation process, Hue University is conducting training and transferring important majors, expanding fields associated with IT applications.

As a part of the public program in France, the delegation of Thua Thien Hue province had a meeting with Mrs. Valesrie Guillet - Research Director of the French School of the Far East - Paris (EFEO), together with the participation of research experts, and other experts in preserving the university’s archives and research files.

On the morning of August 25, Hue University of Education held the opening ceremony of the fourth Central and Highland regional Mathematical Conference. This biennial event is the largest conference of mathematicians and mathematics educators in the Central and Highland regions.

Aside from igniting the passion and excitement of school students and university students in the field of information technology (IT), the success of the Hue-ICT Challenge 2022 competition opens up many prospects and contributes to realizing the orientation of high-quality IT human resources development of the province.
