A Luoi mountain and forest blurred in the mist

On the morning of October 22, the City’s Cooperative Alliance held a review and closing event for Project AIN8748, titled ‘Evidence-Based Forestry Decision-Making, Sustainable Forest Management, and Certification of Small-Scale Plantation Forests in Vietnam’. The project was funded by Finland’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs through the Food and Forest Development Finland (FFD).

After leaving A Luoi to study and work in Hanoi's music environment, A King Luu, 25 years old, has brought with him memories of the mountains and forests, the language, traditional clothing and stories of the Ta Oi people and woven them into his music.

As the eighth lunar month settles over Hue, the rains have grown more frequent. Yet whenever the skies clear, the gentle hues of autumn still quietly linger, stirring the hearts of those who cherish the city’s timeless beauty.

Among the many varieties of fruit, Hue persimmons have a distinctive flavor of their own, especially the heritage varieties associated with century-old garden houses. As autumn arrives, persimmons begin appearing at markets, brightening homes and becoming increasingly popular for sale on social media.

From the evening of September 12th through September 14th, Hue is expected to continue experiencing heavy to very heavy rain, with some areas forecast to receive more than 250mm. The prolonged rainfall has heightened the risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas and along the streams, while low-lying and urban areas face an increased threat of flooding.
