Hue University commends and rewards 150 individuals and research groups

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Linh, Hue University Director reviewed the tradition of 35 years of Vietnamese Teacher’s Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2017) and shares achievements of Hue University over the past years, offered solutions and development direction in the coming time.

Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Ha said that Thua Thien Hue party committee is very proud, treasures and highly appreciates the efforts of Hue University’s professors, associate professors, doctors, masters and staff in the cause of education, training, scientific research. The province always defines Hue University as an institution, a fundamental foundation, an important and indispensable part of the entire socio-economic structure of the province. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Ha believes that Hue University will continue to promote its internal force and take advantage of external forces; basically and comprehensively change all aspects in order to raise the quality of education and training.

Individuals and research groups rewarded by Hue University in 2017

On this occasion, Hue University awarded talents in 2017, including 22 individuals successfully defending PhD thesis before the age of 30, ahead of timeline and with the source of foreign scholarships; 27 individuals winning national and international awards; 100 individuals having scientific works published in prestigious scientific magazines and international publishing houses; 10 research groups having many scientific works published in prestigious scientific magazines and international publishing houses.
