Hue city uses the broken nacre tree for the sculpture competition at Festival 2021

Hue Center for Parks and Green Trees and relevant forces are handling the nacre tree on Tran Hung Dao street

Regarding the trees, there were a number of fallen green trees, including the ancient nacre tree No. 13 on Tran Hung Dao street. This tree was planted near Nguyen Hoang bus station and was one of the oldest nacre trees in the city uprooted. It also created a crush to a nearby lamp post.

If the tree can not survive, the city will use its trunk and stump as material for the sculpture competition in the Festival 2021. Then, it will be displayed in an appropriate space for commemoration and a remind of protecting the natural environment and living environment, said Mr. Phan Thien Dinh - Hue City Party’s Secretary.

Currently, the city is directing the People's Committees of wards, Hue Centre for Parks and Green Trees, Hue Environment and Urban Construction Joint Stock Company to implement a general cleaning and tidy up fallen trees on roads to ensure a clear traffic for the people.
