University of Sciences, Hue University: More than 760 new students enter new academic year

HNN.VN - On the morning of November 4, the University of Sciences, Hue University held the opening ceremony of the new academic year 2020 – 2021, and welcomed more than 760 new students to the 44th academic course.

New students with high entry scores are awarded scholarships

In the previous academic year, the university had 681 students being recognized and awarded graduate certificates in 2020, of which more than 150 students graduated with excellent and good grades.

As of October 2020, the university is managing and training 105 postgraduate students with 18 doctoral majors, and 739 postgraduate students with 23 master majors. Among them, 17 students have successfully defended their doctoral theses, and 152 students have successfully defended their master theses. In the academic year 2019 - 2020, the university has implemented and accepted 157 scientific research projects at all levels.

In the academic year 2020 – 2021, the university sets out many key tasks, especially enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the management and specialized apparatus, in the direction of reducing the management apparatus in accordance with the actual conditions of the university; as well as continuing the work of constructing and developing the University of Sciences, Hue University in the direction of a research university, etc.
