FPT Education Complex in Hue is located in the An Van Duong New Urban Area, Thanh Thuy Ward, Hue City, covering a campus area of 8.68 hectares, with over 2 hectares of construction space. This is a key project, marking the first time FPT has implemented an integrated education complex model in the Central - Central Highlands region, offering a full range of general education and vocational training levels.

The training orientation of the complex focuses on cutting-edge technology fields such as STEM, AI, and Robotics, aiming to develop a high-quality workforce to effectively implement the “strategic quartet”, particularly Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, issued by the Politburo, on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.

As a key project of Hue City, the initiative has received strong attention and support from local leaders. The complex is expected to be inaugurated on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. Once completed, it will accommodate the educational needs of 20,000 students and create approximately 600 jobs for staff, teachers, and local workers.

FPT School Hue is the first facility to be put into operation within the entire complex. All subject-specific functional rooms have been completed to high standards, optimized for learning, hands-on practice, and creativity. Classrooms are equipped with interactive boards, TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and adjustable desks and chairs suited to students’ sizes, ensuring a comfortable and safe learning environment. The school is expected to officially open and welcome over 300 first students in September 2025.

Vietnam’s oldest cadastral record preserved in Hue

Hue is a land that bears the imprint of the southward migration and territorial expansion undertaken more than 700 years ago by the people of ancient Thuan Hoa. Very few documents reveal the timing of these migration waves or the organization and formation of Vietnamese villages in the region. Yet during fieldwork, I gained access to several ancient Han-Nom documents recording the migration, land reclamation, and establishment of villages and communes. Most notably is a cadastral record dating to the 9th year of the Dai Hoa reign (1451) under King Le Nhan Tong, compiled exactly 575 years ago.
