According to the Organizing Board, this year’s competition is part of Hue Festival 2026, organized by Vietnam Goldsmiths, Silversmiths and Gem Association in coordination with Vietnam Association of Artisans and Brand, and Hue Monuments Conservation Center. It is considered one of the notable cultural and artistic highlights of the festival season.

Speaking at the press conference, Dr. Le Ngoc Dung - President of Vietnam Association of Fine Arts, Jewelry and Gemstones, Head of the Organizing Board of the competition, stated that the competition not only honors the beauty of Vietnamese women but also serves as an opportunity to portray the intelligence, creativity, and skillful craftsmanship of jewelry artisans. A distinctive feature of this platform is the combination of beauty and jewelry craftsmanship, where “beauty and artwork” shine together.

Held biennially since 2003, the competition has now gone through 11 editions and has gradually affirmed its position as a reputable brand within the system of beauty contests in Vietnam. Through each season, the program not only seeks outstanding faces but also contributes to promoting the domestic goldsmithing and gemstone craft industry.

The selection of Hue as the host city for 2026 is expected to further spread the image of Vietnamese culture and people in general, and the former imperial capital in particular. Through the competition’s activities, the Organizing Board aims to contribute to the development of tourism, services, and the local economy, while introducing the essence of jewelry artistry to international audiences.

In addition, the “Jewelry Design Competition” for artisans creates a close connection between contestants and artistic products. This is also a distinctive feature that helps the competition leave a unique mark compared to many other beauty pageants.

National Artisan Nguyen Van Bon sharing the design concept for the “Van Phong Phuong Vu” crown

According to the plan, the competition officially kicked off on March 16. The final round will take place from October 13th to 18th, with the grand finale scheduled for the evening of October 18th in Hue. Eligible participants are Vietnamese female citizens aged 18 to 33 who are living, studying, or working both domestically and abroad.

In addition to the main titles such as Queen, First Runner-up, and Second Runner-up, the Organizing Board will also award nine subsidiary titles, including Miss Kindness, Miss Ao Dai, Miss Media, Miss Tourism, and Miss Talent, with a total prize value of nearly 900 million VND.

At the press conference, National Artisan Nguyen Van Bon also shared the concept behind the crown design titled “Van Phong Phuong Vu” for the new Queen. The piece is inspired by the imperial beauty of Hue - where cultural and artistic essence and royal spirit converge.

According to the designer, the crown is not only a symbol of the title but also a “miniature painting” of the imperial court space, conveying a message that honors the image of Vietnamese women as gentle, resilient, and rich in traditional identity. The piece is crafted from gold and silver, set with synthetic diamonds, and accented with natural pearls - materials that evoke elegance and nobility.

With investment in scale, concept, and artistic value, Miss Jewelry Vietnam 2026 is expected to enrich the series of activities of Hue Festival 2026, while creating a new highlight in promoting Vietnamese culture to the world.
