Many units learn about the development of smart urban services in Hue

HNN.VN - On May 8, the working delegation of the Ministry of Information and Communications led by Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Director General of the Department of Personnel and Organization, together with nearly 20 directors of the Department of Information and Communications of the Central – Central Highland provinces had a working session with Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee to find out the implementation status of the e-Government and the development of smart urban services in the province.

The working delegation learns about the operation mechanism of Thua Thien Hue Smart City Monitoring and Control Center 

According to Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho, up to now, many information technology applications adopted in the operation of state agencies towards the completion of the e-Government in Thua Thien Hue are working well. It is noteworthy that the management system of working documents and records has been connected within four levels, including three levels at the locality and connected to the national system; and digital signatures issued to commune-level administrative agencies reach 95 percent, etc.

Thua Thien Hue Smart City Monitoring and Control Center has officially put seven services into operation including monitoring the city via camera sensor; reflecting the scene; monitoring press information; monitoring public administrative services; electronic cards; warning the network of smart city; and monitoring electronic advertisement.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong recognized and highly appreciated the results achieved by Thua Thien Hue in terms of building e-Government and smart city. At the same time, he affirmed that the strengths of the province in those areas were the premise for other localities coming to exchange and study experiences.
