Participating in the camp were 15 writers and artists from different sub-branches: prose, music, photography, fine arts and folk art.

During the camp, writers and artists went out to experience and explore the nature and the cultural life in Vinh Thanh commune and some nearby communes in the lagoon area of Phu Vang district. The artists also learned about the local people's lives and the typical individuals who devoted themselves to the development of their homeland. The artists’ experiences, in the end, would be a wonderful source of inspiration to compose works about the beautiful land and people here.

Although hundreds of thousands of pages of Han - Nom documents have been saved, many others in the community are still deteriorating, damaged, or lost for various reasons. A piece of good news is that the long-term plan for this work, extending through 2030, has just been approved by Hue City People’s Committee.
