Hue University students win Third prize in startup contest of Ministry of Education and Training

HNN.VN - The project "Save Blood - Information technology application platform" (of Hue University students) has just won the third prize in the contest "Pupils and Students with the Idea to Startup" in 2019, organized by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), Hue University informs.

Save Blood is also the project that won the first prize in Business Ideas 2019 contest, organized in Ho Chi Minh City in May 2019.

According to the representative of the team, Save Blood in essence is an information technology application software, responsible for connecting with individuals and organizations related to live blood banks. Save Blood stores information of people who have donated blood; and, at the same time, provides information for those who need blood.

The usage of online live blood map helps the coordinators determine the number of blood donors with the necessary blood types in the nearest location through the application on smartphone, in case of emergency.

The final round of the contest for pupils and students with the idea of ​​starup in 2019 (on the evening of October 5) organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, attracted 68 best projects competing.

Previously, the contest attracted the particapation of 200 universities, colleges, technical schools and high schools nationwide with nearly 300 quality and diverse submissions, focusing on all fields of technology, education, health and society ...
