| Signing of the handover agreement among relevant parties |
Attending the event were, Standing Member of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh; leaders of relevant departments and agencies; and leaders of Hue University.
At the conference, Dr. Nguyen Van Hung, Secretary of the University Council of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, presented a brief report on the preparation process for the handover between Hue Medical College and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University.
The involved parties agreed to hand over, in their entirety and original condition, all facilities, organizational structures, finances, assets, staff and employees, learners, legal documents, and all professional and administrative activities of Hue Medical College to the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University. The handover is to be conducted based on principles ensuring uninterrupted operations, preventing loss or waste, and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of staff, employees, and learners.
The contents include: the Party organization and affiliated unions; 111 staff members and employees along with related records; assets, finances, land, and all management documents; learner records and training activities; legal documents and archived materials of the institution.
The conference marks an important milestone in the roadmap to reorganize the system of medical education institutions in the area, contributing to improving the quality of healthcare workforce training and advancing the development of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University in the new phase.
At the conference, the parties signed the handover minutes, officially completing the transfer.
