Digital exhibition on "Hoang Sa, Truong Sa are of Vietnam - historical and legal evidence"

HNN.VN - The exhibitions, organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Education and Training, were held on November 26 and 27 at Nguyen Hue high school, Hai Ba Trung high school (Hue city) and Phan Dang Luu high school (Phu Vang district).

Here, students can witness and go through documents and artifacts such as bibliographies, the Nguyen Dynasty documents, ancient map of Vietnam, maps of Western countries, map of China, sovereignty landmarks, models of Hoang Sa fleet, etc., in virtual space through presentation software; exchange and talk about the East Sea situation and issues related to the sea and islands.

According to Mr. Nguyen Huy Hien, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, the introduction and dissemination of historical and legal documents and evidence affirms Vietnam's sovereignty over the two archipelagos of Hoang Sa (Paracel Island) and Truong Sa (Spratly Island) through the digital exhibition on "Hoang Sa, Truong Sa are of Vietnam - Historical and legal evidence" held in Thua Thien Hue province. This is one of the practical activities of the information propaganda about the sea, islands; informing directly to staff, teachers and students in the school; thereby, contributing to fostering the love for the homeland and the country, raising awareness, responsibility and action of the staff, teachers and students towards the construction and protection of the sea and island sovereignty of the fatherland.
