Five-claw dragon and phoenix are two noble symbols of the monarchy associated with the image of king and queen. With these two decisive decorative themes, the ancient artisans and craftsmen created the most elaborate and delicate royal objects.

The exhibition "Dragon - Phoenix on Nguyen Dynasty royal treasures" displays more than 60 artifacts including: precious metal treasures, precious metal books, four valuable office equipment (four items that are closely associated with those who work on calligraphy and drawing, ... including brush pen, ink-slab, paper and ink), and the utensils used in common royal life or royal ceremonies, which are made of rare precious materials such as gold, silver, precious stones, pearls and tortoise-shells… These are priceless treasures of historical, cultural and artistic value of an era; at the same time, they demonstrate the skillful craftsmanship of the ancient artisans.
