Thua Phu Prison remnant area to open to visitors by December 22

HNN.VN - On November 24, Mr. Nguyen Duc Loc, Director of the Provincial History Museum, said that the Thua Phu Prison remnant area and the exhibition space of the Provincial History Museum would be opened to welcome the locals and visitors by December 22.

According to Mr. Loc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh has recently checked on these both locations. At the Thua Phu Prison remnant area, located on Le Lai Street, Mr. Binh has checked the process of restoration, conservation and reconstruction of the categories, and requested the managing unit to soon complete the work and set up introduction and guide boards, etc., as well as adjusting the system of green trees and lighting so as to ensure the aesthetics.

At the exhibition space of the Provincial History Museum, which is located at 268 Dien Bien Phu Street, Mr. Binh asked to urgently carry out the categories of the construction of outdoor exhibition, aiming to soon complete the first stage on the occasion of December 22. In particular, the gate, fence, green space, and overall landscape of the area, etc., should be paid attention to.
