The attraction from the “Countryside Market Festival”

An Ao dai performance at the closing night

Following the songs that deeply captured the essence of the Huong River and Mount Ngu region, including “Hue dem trang” (“Hue on the moonlit night”), “Hue va em” (“Hue and you”), and “Tam biet Hue” (“Goodbye Hue”), which were performed by Long Nhat, the singer, the closing ceremony continued to impress the audience with an Ao dai performance featuring a collection themed “Hoai niem sac mau” (“Colorful Nostalgia”) by Lan Vy, the designer.

Continuing the program, lively songs, and energetic Flamengo and K-pop dances made the closing night atmosphere “explode”. Besides, in response to an “unscheduled” request, Long Nhat performed three more songs, namely: “O hai dau noi nho” (“At both sides of the nostalgia”), “Gan lam Truong Sa” (“So close to Truong Sa”), and “Loi nguoi ra di” (“Words of the departer”), which presented amid the thunderous applause of the audience.

Mr. Duong Anh Tuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thuy Thanh commune, informed that after four days of the event, although there were no boat races, like the ones held in some previous editions of the festival, the “Countryside Market Festival” 2024 attracted over 200,000 visitors, equivalent to the number of visitors recorded in 2022.

This demonstrates the growing appeal and effectiveness of the “Countryside Market Festival”, and it serves as a driving force for Thuy Thanh to promote the local socio-economic development in the direction of community tourism services, effectively implement the construction of an advanced new rural commune, and a commune to be transformed into a ward in the coming time.
