New works of young artists introduced

HNN.VN - On the anniversary of Thua Thien Hue Liberation Day on March 26 and the Reunification Day on April 30, the provincial Fine Arts Association in collaboration with the Union of Literature and Arts Associations, the Branch of Vietnam Fine Arts Association in Thua Thien Hue and the University of Arts, Hue University organizes the 4th Hue Young Art Exhibition - 2019 at the University of Arts, Hue University.

The exhibition gathering works with fresh styles of young artists

The exhibition presents 43 works of 40 young artists under 40. These are new works which has been created since 2018 with many unique designs, such as installation, painting on shelf, graphic printing, Truc chi ... The young artists are interested in the topics about vibrant realistic life, environmental protection issues, the love of homeland and beauty of nature...

According to the assessment of the organization board, besides the freshness in style, many works are still on the experimental road. It is noteworthy that there are some works with strong style of painting and skillful material techniques, showing the hard work with creative strength.

The organizers awarded prizes to the outstanding works. In particular, the works including "The beauty of nature" of Vo Quang Phat, "The river in countryside" of Thai Van Nguyen, "The scar of cabinet" of Mai Minh Quy were awarded the prizes of the Branch of Vietnam Fine Arts Association in Thua Thien Hue.

Nguyen Thi My Tam's "Revival - No. 3" was awarded the Dinh Cuong Art Prize and Nguyen Trung Kien's "No Name – No. 5" was awarded the Buu Chi Art Prize.

The exhibition takes place until April 4.
