Nearly 70 fine art works displayed at Student Fine Art Exhibition

HNN.VN - On January 8, Student Fine Art Exhibition in 2021 took place at College of Arts, Hue University, on the occasion of the 71st Anniversary of Traditional Day of Vietnamese students and the Vietnam Students' Association (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2021).

This year's exhibition is the uninterrupted connection between the gallery of artists participating in the exhibition and the material classrooms of the lecturers and students of the college, thereby showing the continuity, the depth and the system of specific expertise, as well as the process and quality of fine art training of the college.

After a time of launching, the organization committee has received 145 fine art works by 109 artists. In particular, the College of Arts, Hue University has 58 artists with 94 fine art works; high schools and professional secondary schools have 51 artists with 51 fine art works. The Fine Art Council has scored and selected 68 fine art works to display in the exhibition; and 10 fine art works to award prizes.

According to representatives of the college, with their strengths and expertise, the artists have created the fine art works with a variety of types and materials, in which, the fine art works with the materials of oil painting, lacquerware, graphic or silk show the technical refinement of painting of the students of arts and art pedagogy. In addition, the exhibition also introduces the works of the students of sculpture and graphic design, interior design, fashion design, and multimedia art design.

The fine art works are inspired by many familiar topics in life, such as people, still life, and natural landscapes. They are made in a very unique way, with unique and creative art drawings, with the subtle, skillful in thinking, in observing and feeling about the correlation between people and life, etc.
