Honoring the traditional stage
HNN.VN - On September 10, Thua Thien Hue Theater Artists Association in collaboration with Hue Theater Artists Department celebrated the Vietnam Theater Day (on August 12 of the Lunar Calendar).
The Union of Art and Literature Associations and Theater Artists Association congratulated artisans and artists on being awarded the title of Artisan of Merit, Artist of Merit.
This was an opportunity for the artists to review the tradition, honor the conventional profession, and look back on the previous working period in order to create many high-quality works together.
In 2019, the members of the Theater Artists Association have participated in numerous special programs and performances to serve the public during the Lunar New Year and major holidays, especially the Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2019.
The theater artist branch of Hue Dramatic Arts Theater and Hue Traditional Royal Arts Theater took part in the Nationwide Drama - Folk Theater Festival in Thanh Hoa with 4 plays and gained many gold and silver medals.
There are 2 members being awarded the title of Artisan of Merit; 3 members, the title of Artist of Merit. Some plays won the A, B, C Prize of the 6th Ancient Capital Literature and Art Award.
