The Ha Thanh Communal House stands out as a historical testament, marking the development of the coastal village known for its salt making and fishing. This communal house is closely tied to the formation and growth of Ha Thanh village, symbolizing the settlement, transformation, and diverse development of the local population. It reflects the spirit of solidarity and cohesion of each individual in the community, as well as the multifaceted contributions of the people to the progress of the locality and the nation.

During the two wars against the French and the Americans, Ha Thanh Communal House, along with nearby areas, was a hub for patriotic activities by the local people. It remains one of the cultural institutions that has been well-preserved, maintained, and effectively promoted in the current life of the local residents. Through festivals and activities held at the communal house, a sense of pride, patriotism, and national consciousness are stirred, fostering community solidarity and a commitment to preserving the cultural heritage left by the ancestors.

For its historical values, Ha Thanh Communal House has been recognized as a provincial historical site by the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province under Decision No. 709/QD-UBND dated March 21st, 2024.
