The conference focused on discussing some of the key issues put forth to the North Central provinces in the fast and sustainable development.

“This is the second time in the year the Ministry of Foreign Affairs cooperated to organize the connection and support activities for the North Central region after the success of the conference "Meeting Japan - the North Central region in 2019 " last April.

Opinions are the basis for proposing contributions, contributing to the proposed policies and measures to effectively support localities and businesses in the North Central region. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to coordinate with and accompany localities in the coming time, contributing to sustainable socio-economic development for this region,” Mr. Son affirmed.

Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Phan Ngoc Tho emphasized that in this meeting, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has updated many useful information about the situation of the world and the region, and implemented the international integration of our country; exchanged issues for domestic preparation to effectively implement commitments in new free trade agreements.

This is the basis for Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee in particular and the provinces and cities in the North Central region in general to focus on directing, operating, and continuing to effectively implement socio-economic development plans in 2019 and the next years, in which the local businesses play a core role amid the globalization and international competition.
