Thua Thien-Hue welcomes 1.5 million tourists in first half

The central Thua Thien-Hue province welcomed approximately 1.5 million visitors in the first 5 months, raking in more than US$60 million.

The province hopes to receive more than 1.7 million tourists in the first half of the year.

Chairman of Thua Thien-Hue province’s People Committee Nguyen Van Cao said underscored the need for the province to further improve diplomatic activities on tourism and assure safety for tourists.

A number of tourist products and community tours are being offered this season.
