The tournament draws nearly 150 outstanding athletes from Quang Tri, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Da Nang, and Hue City.
The athletes compete in mixed doubles in divisions PVNA 4.95, 5.35, 5.85, and 6.15; and women’s doubles in division PVNA 4.35. In addition, the tournament also features categories for recreational players from Hue and other localities.
With a total prize pool of more than 100 million VND, the tournament promises exciting and competitive matches while motivating athletes to put on high-quality performances.
Now in its second edition, the Hue City Pickleball Clubs Open Championship aims to become a prestigious annual sporting event. In addition to providing athletes with opportunities to gain competitive experience and demonstrate their skills, the tournament also seeks to encourage localities and clubs to develop their pool of athletes, promote the growth of pickleball, and create an environment for exchange and learning among clubs in the city and neighboring provinces and cities.
The tournament is scheduled to run through October 4.
