| The University of Economics, Hue University honours the top entrance exam scorer at the opening ceremony |
In the 2026-2027 academic year, the university will continue to follow the motto ‘Teach genuinely, learn genuinely, act genuinely and take genuine responsibility’, with the aim of training high-quality human resources with strong political and ethical qualities, self-learning ability, creative thinking, adaptability to the working environment, and the ability to integrate internationally.
On this occasion, the University of Economics, Hue University presented awards to one top entrance exam scorer, three runners-up and 12 students who achieved high scores in the 2026 full-time undergraduate admissions. The university also awarded ‘Giving Wings to Dreams’ scholarships to two freshmen facing particularly difficult circumstances and 45 ‘Overcoming Difficulties’ scholarships.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Tan Quan, Rector of the University of Economics, Hue University, emphasized that personal development and character building are important goals prioritized by the university throughout the training process. He also encouraged the freshmen to quickly adapt to the university environment, take an active approach to their studies, and actively engage in scientific research and personal development, thereby achieving good results throughout their four-year university journey.
