Name tags are presented to the new resident doctors

The new resident doctors are trained at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, and study and undertake clinical practice at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital in 18 specialties, including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Odonto-Stomatology, Diagnostic Imaging, Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, Emergency and Critical Care, Traditional Medicine, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Haematology and Blood Transfusion, Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine, Oncology, Family Medicine, and Pathology.

As outstanding young doctors selected to participate in an intensive and systematic training program, the new resident doctors begin their training with professional passion and a strong desire to contribute. The three-year residency program will be a period for them to develop their professional skills, strengthen their medical ethics and grow under the guidance of experienced lecturers and doctors at the hospital.

Speaking at the event, Associate Professor Hoang Bui Bao, Vice Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, in charge of training, emphasized the important role of clinical practice in the training of resident doctors. He expressed his hope that the young doctors would proactively learn and gain experience while developing a sense of responsibility and medical ethics from the teachers who directly guide them.

Immediately after remarks by leaders of the university and hospital, the ceremony to present name tags to the new resident doctors took place in a formal and warm atmosphere.
