At the program, Mr. Phan Vinh Tuan Anh, PhD, presented a session titled ‘Choosing Research Topics and Journal Positioning Strategies’. The session focused on sharing experience in identifying novel research problems that align with academic trends, as well as selecting journals with suitable subject areas and publication criteria for the research findings.
Ms. Ho Nhan Ai, PhD, also presented a session titled ‘Skills for Structuring and Finalizing a Manuscript’, offering practical guidance on preparing a scientific paper, from organizing content and developing arguments to presenting findings and finalizing a manuscript before submitting it to international journals.
The training session also provided an opportunity for lecturers from the University of Law, Hue University to directly discuss with the speakers common difficulties and challenges encountered during the research and international publication process. This helped lecturers gain more practical experience in selecting research directions, preparing manuscripts, approaching suitable journals and improving the quality of their scientific works.
The activity contributes to strengthening lecturers’ research capacity while gradually improving the quality and effectiveness of international scientific publications by the University of Law, Hue University.
