The players compete vigorously, delivering thrilling rallies throughout the tournament 

Taking place from August 14 to 16, the tournament has the participation of 324 athletes from 33 clubs in the city and elsewhere. The athletes were divided into 9 groups to vie for honors in 7 singles and 2 doubles events.

In the singles events, athletes compete in categories, including U9 and U11 primary school students; U13 and U15 secondary school students; A-B, C-D, and E-F-G divisions. The doubles events feature 2 categories: A-B-C-D and E-F-G.

Over the three-day tournament, a total of 553 matches are played, including 526 preliminary-round matches and 27 semifinal and final matches.

According to a representative of Hue City Youth and Children’s Center, the tournament was held to foster the development of table tennis training and competition across the city, while providing athletes with opportunities to improve their skills, competitive confidence, and gain experience through exchanges and competition. The event also contributed to creating a healthy sporting environment, encouraging young people and people from all walks of life to stay physically active and improve their health.
