Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang presented a gift to Ms. Greene Heather, Visiting Professor and Chief Consulting Expert at Hue Central Hospital

Highlighting the locality’s position and potential, Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang affirmed that Hue is one of the country’s three largest centers for specialized healthcare and maintains close and long-standing cooperative ties with many leading universities in South Korea. With the goal of raising residents’ quality of life under the motto ‘Living healthy, Living beautifully’, the representative of the city leaders proposed that the two sides focus their discussions on four key areas of cooperation.

These include exploring the feasibility of investing in a high-end medical complex project in Hue, comprising a Health Screening Center, a Stem Cell Research and Treatment Center, and a Liver Transplant Surgery Training Center with the participation of Professor Lee Seok-Goo, a leading organ transplantation expert in South Korea; and facilitating cooperation to attract FimMedicare and Cherubs Medi to invest in a plant manufacturing medical equipment and supplies at the city’s high-tech park.

At the same time, encouraging Walk 101 company to partner with Hue Central Hospital on high-tech transfer in medical examination and treatment, implementing advanced liver transplant programs, and expanding cosmetic surgery and beauty care facilities…

On behalf of the delegation, Ms. Greene Heather expressed a strong impression of Hue’s development potential, modern healthcare infrastructure, and the warm reception extended by the city authorities. The representative of the delegation emphasized the desire for long-term cooperation across various fields, from medical supply manufacturing and cosmetic surgery to building wellness centers to serve tourism.

Ms. Greene Heather said that South Korean partners hold Hue’s investment environment and high-quality medical workforce in very high regard, and expressed confidence that a model combining specialized healthcare, high-tech cosmetic services, and wellness tourism would mark a new breakthrough.
