Livelihood support was provided to disadvantaged women members in Binh Dien Commune

After surveying the households’ actual needs, the program provided a chicken-raising model for 5 women members, with total funding of 25 million VND.

The activity aims to give the members additional means to develop production, increase their income, gradually stabilize their lives, and achieve sustainable poverty reduction. Beyond providing chicks and animal feed, the program also reflects the support and companionship of various levels of the Union for women facing difficult circumstances.

Ms. Dang Thi Mai, a women member of the Tan Quang Chapter in Binh Dien Commune, said happily: “I was so pleased to receive the chicks and animal feed. I will do my best to take good care of them so that the flock stays healthy and grows. This will be the capital I need to keep building up my household’s livestock production.”

The City Women’s Union will continue to monitor the progress, provide technical guidance on poultry farming, and help members maximize the effectiveness of the livelihood model, contributing to improving their living standards and developing their household economy.
