This year’s conference attracts the participation of 87 universities, research institutions, and domestic and international organizations

The event brings together delegates from 87 universities, research institutions, and domestic and international organizations, along with authors from various countries, including France, the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, Australia, and India.

The conference has received 209 research papers, of which 145 have been selected for in-person presentation. Through plenary sessions, 25 parallel sessions organized by thematic tracks, and a range of academic networking activities, the conference focuses on topics including development economics, macroeconomics, finance, the environment, global value chains, innovation, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and sustainable development.

The program provides a platform for direct dialogue among scientists, experts, and policymakers on emerging growth drivers, the role of innovation, and solutions to promote sustainable local economic development. By connecting research findings with practical needs, the discussion sessions help identify opportunities, challenges, and policy directions for Hue City as it enters a new stage of development.

Over 17 editions, the Annual Conference of Vietnamese Economists has established itself as a premier academic gathering for the economics and management research community. Beyond academic presentations, VEAM has played an important role in building collaborative networks among universities, research institutions, international organizations, and policymaking agencies.
