The artistic program “Hue Ao dai - The Flow of Heritage and Integration”

On the evening of July 3, the artistic program ‘Hue Ao dai - The Flow of Heritage and Integration’ was held on the riverside stage by the Perfume River, opposite Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, as part of Hue Ao dai Week 2026. The program drew a large number of locals and tourists.

Designed as an open-air stage that encouraged community engagement, the program featured hundreds of artists, performers and models, blending ao-dai showcases with stage performances and Hue’s distinctive traditional performing arts.

The program vividly brought to life the history, the culture, and the beauty of Ao dai Vietnam, underscoring its timeless values within the setting of a heritage city. Complementing the fashion showcase, a traditional and contemporary music was blended to the event and made it attractive to audiences.

According to the organizing committee, Hue Ao dai Week 2026 goes beyond an annual cultural - tourism event and serves as an opportunity to preserve and promote Ao dai Vietnam’s values, at the same time affirming Hue’s pioneering role in shaping and expanding the brand name of “Hue – The Capital of Ao dai”.
