The program has been developed through a partnership between the School of Engineering and Technology, Hue University, and Nisso Corporation and Meisei Group, two leading Japanese businesses. It is an advanced training model designed to equip future engineers with strong professional expertise, foreign language proficiency, a professional work ethic, and the ability to quickly adapt to international working environments.

Under the program, students will receive 4.5 to 5 years of training through an integrated curriculum that combines specialized knowledge, Japanese language studies, corporate culture, and workplace skills tailored to Japanese industrial environments. The curriculum is application-oriented, placing a strong emphasis on hands-on experience while aligning closely with the recruitment needs of partner companies.

Upon graduation, students may pursue careers with Japanese businesses operating in the field of high-tech industries, including electrical and electronics engineering, automation, automotive technology, precision engineering, and advanced manufacturing. The program offers a distinct advantage by connecting students with modern industrial environments, helping them build competitive skills and expand their career opportunities in the global workforce.

In its first selection process, the program attracted 55 applicants. Of these, 33 students met all eligibility requirements, including 20 admitted to the Nisso program and 13 to the Meisei program.
