Supported by Sao Mai Center for the Blind, the activity was held to provide members with additional skills to reach new employment prospects and facilitate more effective career transitions as occupational demands continue to diversify.
At the training session, Mr. Pham Hong Phong, Head of the Cooperative Consulting and Development Division under the City Cooperative Alliance, delivered much fundamental knowledge related to collective economy, procedures for establishing cooperatives and cooperative groups, as well as approaches to managing and operating these models effectively.
Furthermore, trainees joining this training session also got the chance to discuss and exchange their practical experiences in developing operational plans, while also building production business models tailored to the conditions and capabilities of visually impaired individuals.
According to the representative of the organizing committee, based on these foundations, the trainees can gradually formulate plans for establishing a new cooperative or cooperative groups, while also being more proactive in occupational orientation and building a more stable livelihood for themselves.
Scheduled for June, 2026, the City Association for the Blind will continue to hold more training sessions on job application and teamwork skills to support students and young members in enhancing their employment prospects and transition to more suitable jobs.
