The event was part of a series of activities commemorating the 136th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), while also supporting initiatives aiming at promoting cultural development in connection with education.
Under the theme “Hue - A Historical Legacy and a Journey of Rising in a New Era”, the exhibition featured hundreds of photographs and artifacts highlighting the nation’s glorious revolutionary tradition, as well as the achievements of both the country and Hue. It reaffirms the city’s role and position in a new era of development.
In addition to the exhibition, a “Ring the Golden Bell” competition titled “Journey of Connecting History - Spreading Heritage Values” was held for students of Huong Tra High School.
According to the organizing committee, as the country enters a new phase of development marked by both opportunities and emerging challenges, educating younger generations about the nation’s historical traditions and cultural heritage has become increasingly important and urgent. Museums are not only places that preserve collective memory but also educational and experiential spaces that connect the past with the present while inspiring future generations.
The activity served as a way of “bringing museums closer to schools”, contributing to spreading a greater awareness within the community about the importance of preserving, safeguarding, and promoting traditional cultural values.
