The program, held by Hue Museum of Fine Arts, was launched on April 22 at Diem Phung Thi Art Center (No.17 Le Loi, Thuan Hoa Ward).

Taking place over four days, the sketching program offers participating artists hands-on experiences at a number of Hue’s iconic French architectural sites, including Hue Railway Station, Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, Hue University headquarters, and Van Nien Water Plant…. As part of the program, the artists will also visit and create works at Hoa My Resistance Base historical site in Phong Dien Ward.

According to the organizing committee, the sketching initiative is set to preserve, promote, and honor the cultural heritage of Hue Ancient Capital in general and its fine arts in particular to both locals and international visitors. The program also serves as a platform for art lovers to connect, foster appreciation for nature, the country, and its people, while encouraging deeper exploration of Hue’s distinctive heritage.

Upon the program’s conclusion, the works in high-quality will be curated for a public exhibition scheduled in July 2026.
