“All participating artists are young faces from Hue who share a passion for music”

“Đi mô? Nghe chi?” is a project founded with the aim of nurturing and connecting young music talents in Hue. The program is co-founded and directly produced by Mien Trung Audio Technik ecosystem and Two Thousand Band, with a vision to create a professional platform while preserving the natural, free-spirited essence of street music.

In Episode 2, the audience was treated to a diverse lineup of performances by Two Thousand Band and NOKAR Band. The acts were thoughtfully staged, blending genres such as pop, rock, and jazz, delivering a vibrant musical experience in the open riverside setting by the Huong River. The sound system was professionally invested in and well-executed, ensuring consistent performance quality and enhancing the overall audience experience.

Beyond a music night, the program created an interactive space where audiences could connect more closely with the artists. Many young attendees chose to stay throughout the program, immersing themselves in the vibrant atmosphere. This could be considered a way to provide spiritual support to local performers. Held in a public space, the event also made it easier to reach a diverse audience, from locals to visitors.

A representative of the organizing committee said that the event series’ goal is that, in the long term, it would build a sustainable live music ecosystem in Hue, where young artists have opportunities to perform, gain experience, and grow. At the same time, it seeks to make music a familiar part of urban life, contributing to the enrichment of the city’s cultural and artistic landscape.

With serious investment and a clear development orientation, “Đi mô? Nghe chi?” is gradually emerging as a new musical hotspot for Hue’s youth. The success of its Episode 2 highlights the strong potential of the outdoor live performance model, while raising expectations for even higher-quality music nights in the time ahead.
