Racing against time in this historic April, contractors working on Thuan An sea-gate overpass project are stepping up construction efforts by mobilizing both machinery and manpower, while simultaneously advancing multiple work fronts.
Key components, ranging from roadbed embankment and asphalt paving to the installation of traffic safety systems, are being expedited at full capacity. Despite harsh sun and strong coastal winds, construction teams remain on site, striving to ensure the project is technically ready for traffic-through by April 30.
Submitting his photo series to the newsroom, photographer Tuan Kiet shared: “Under Hue’s scorching sun, the construction team was trying hard to sprint toward completion on schedule. Even though having their lunch breaks in a hurry, they took advantage of every minute to keep up with the process. Being there to document the work, I got the chance to witness the contractor’s strong sense of responsibility and unwavering determination. Residents were filled with anticipation. One man, who had just lost his father, spoke with quiet grief: My father had long looked forward to the day the bridge would be completed, but never got to see it”.
Highlighting the tireless efforts of workers from the contractor teams involved in the project, Hue Today Weekly would like to present a collection of photo moments captured by photographer Tuan Kiet.
