South Korean artist Sunyoung Park (center) alongside artists and art lovers in Hue at the exhibition

The exhibition, held at the New Space Arts Foundation (Hamlet 3, Lai The Village, My Thuong Ward), attracted the attention of art lovers.

The 6 artworks on display are inspired by the nostalgia, and created through a combination of photography and sculpture. In this collection, nostalgia is not presented as an emotional longing for the past, but rather as a present state shaped by the dissonance between space and time.

Sunyoung Park “borrowed” bricks she encountered in Hue to serve as both her materials and conceptual foundation. These bricks carry colonial traces and cultural hybridity, while also marking the intersection between personal memory and public history.

The exhibition is open to the public until March 30.
