The runners participating in the marathon

The race attracted over 700 registered runners, competing in 2 distances: 5km and 17km. The 5km category was designed for beginners looking to get acquainted with the terrain, nature enthusiasts, and those seeking a close, gentle yet emotional experience of Bach Ma’s forest landscape. Meanwhile, the 17km distance was reserved for runners who crave a true challenge, featuring steep elevations, rugged forest trails, and endurance pushed to the limit.

This is considered one of the most challenging and scenic race routes in Central Vietnam. The course is designed to run through the primary forest ecosystem of Bach Ma National Park, linking steep climbs, forest streams, natural trails, and distinctive high points, creating a journey that is both demanding and emotionally rewarding.

The course not only tests runners’ endurance, determination, and technical skills, but also offers a unique experience of traversing lush forests, misty mountains, cool streams, and pristine natural surroundings. It represents a harmonious blend of sport, exploration, and nature conservation.

According to the organizing committee, the race at Bach Ma’s summit goes beyond promoting physical health and also delivers a powerful message to the community. Set against the pristine backdrop of mountains and forests, every stride becomes a reminder of nature’s value and the shared responsibility to protect it. More than just a sporting event, the activity fosters a healthy lifestyle, inspiring people to stay active, strengthen their well-being, and upgrade their overall quality of life.

In addition, organizing running events at Bach Ma conveys a strong message of collective action to protect forests, preserve natural landscapes, and conserve biodiversity. As participants directly experience the beauty of the mountains and forests, their awareness of environmental protection is further enhanced. The event also provides an opportunity for the community to connect, share a passion for sports, and contribute to building an image of a dynamic, friendly, and sustainably developing locality.
