In this academic year, the Department of Education and Training formed 11 teams comprising 108 students to compete in the National Excellent Student Examination across various subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Informatics, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, English, French, and Japanese. The teams received intensive training and coaching from experienced teachers, experts, and former students who had achieved top awards.
At the National Excellent Student Examination organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in late December 2025, students of Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted won 90 prizes, including 4 First Prizes, 20 Second Prizes, 34 Third Prizes, and 32 Consolation Prizes, achieving a success rate of 83.33%. This marks the school’s highest number of awards to date, witnessing an increase of 7 prizes compared to the previous academic year, further affirming its position as one of the country’s leading institutions. Notably, 5 students were selected to advance to the second round of the national team selection for regional and international Olympiads, scheduled for March 2026.
At the ceremony, city leaders presented awards to prize-winning students and coaching teams, promptly recognizing and encouraging the efforts of teachers and students throughout the preparation process. Beyond a gesture of encouragement, the event reflected the city’s strong commitment to nurturing gifted students, contributing to the development of a high-quality local workforce.
