First prize awarded at the Tea-tender - Modern Tea Brewing Competition

The International Tea Festival - Hue 2025 (held from December 10th to 12th) attracted 24 domestic and international units participating in exhibitions and performances, along with the presence of numerous tea artisans, researchers, performance artists, and professionals working in the tea sector. The event recorded approximately 2.500 visitor visits for sightseeing and experiential activities.

At the closing ceremony, the organizing committee honored the top contestants who achieved the highest total scores after the preliminary rounds of the Teatender - Modern Tea Brewing Competition. The committee also awarded one first prize, one second prize, one third prize, and four consolation prizes to outstanding contestant-winners after the final round of the competition.

Also, featured at the closing ceremony was the special artistic program “Moon Dance of Tea Blossoms”. This was a poetic image creatively conceived to conclude the three-day tea festival in a spirit of elegance and rich aesthetic expression.

Special artistic program “Moon Dance of Tea Blossoms”

The program title carries multiple layers of meaning: Moon symbolizes completeness, tranquillity, and the serene beauty of the Ancient Capital, a moment for visitors to contemplate a fulfilling journey; tea represents purity of spirit and the profound cultural essence of the imperial court, connecting people through stillness and reflection; dance & blossoms symbolize sublimation and romance, capturing a moment when the soul is liberated like petals drifting in the moonlit night of Hue. Together, these elements blend into a poetic artistic whole, serving as a greeting and a gesture of gratitude from the organizers to visitors, artisans, and international friends who accompanied the festival this year. “Moon Dance of Tea Blossoms” is therefore expected to leave participants with a beautiful, complete, and unforgettable aftertaste.

The closing ceremony of the International Tea Festival - Hue 2025 also marked the opening event of the Closing Week of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025, featuring a series of distinctive cultural, artistic, and tourism activities. This occasion serves to summarize a successful tourism year while affirming Hue City’s orientation toward sustainable, creative development imbued with strong cultural identity in the future.
