On November 19, a representative of Hue City Culture and Cinema Center announced that the film “Red rain”, a revolutionary war-themed work that previously created a box office sensation, will be screened for free in 9 provinces and cities across the country, including Hue.
This activity is part of a series of events celebrating the 24th Vietnam Film Festival. Accordingly, in Hue, the film will be screened on the evening of November 21 at Cine Star Hue Cinema (25 Hai Ba Trung, Thuan Hoa Ward).
This screening is free for officials in the culture and sports sector, members of the Veterans Association, the armed forces, and People in Hue City.
The film “Red rain” (directed by Dang Thai Huyen) was released on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. As a film about the revolutionary war, “Red rain” authentically and vividly recreates the 81 days and nights of resilient fighting to protect the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel through modern and emotional cinematic lens.
The film “Red rain” also serves as a tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for independence, freedom, and peace.
In addition to free screenings in select localities, the film “Red rain” will be available for free via the TV360 platform. People can watch it by downloading the application on their phones, computers, or televisions.
