The international expert team consisting of 14 members from the ReSurge International will work in Hue from November 17 to 21. The team includes many professors and surgeons specializing in plastic, aesthetic, and maxillofacial surgery from the United States, alongside domestic doctors participating in academic exchange. During the 5-day period, the experts will directly screen, consult, and perform surgery on patients indicated for intervention.
Accordingly, the entire logistics cost of the team, including travel, accommodation, and program organization, totaling about 30,000 USD, is sponsored by the ReSurge International. Additionally, the organization also supports the cost of surgeries for eligible patients.
Within the framework of the program, Vietnamese doctors will have the opportunity to update advanced surgical techniques, safe surgical procedures according to U.S. standards, and exchange practical experience with international experts. This is considered an important occasion to strengthen the professional capacity of the plastic and aesthetic surgery team, while also opening up more treatment opportunities for many patients in difficult circumstances.
