On the evening of October 30, immediately after receiving the instruction from General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, 30 tons of goods, including food and necessities, were gathered by the police forces. Traveling a distance of nearly 700 km to timely deliver the relief goods, the convoy arrived in Hue City by the afternoon of October 31.

On the evening of October 31, Hue City Police promptly organized the handover of all the goods to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Viet Phuong, Head of the Logistics Department of Hue City Police, stated: “Upon receiving the valuable sentiment and practical gifts from the Ministry of Public Security, the unit quickly mobilized hundreds of officers and soldiers to participate in sorting and packaging the goods this afternoon and evening. We are making every effort to ensure that tomorrow morning, all the goods will be transported and delivered directly to people in flood-affected areas.”
